The Woodruff Brand

What do Bille and Fonseca Woodruff have in common with Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt? Not President of the United States, of course, but cousins that never knew they were related. It was through a mutual friend in 2015 that connected the two during a chance Facebook encounter. Bille's grandfather is from Virginia. Fonseca's great-grandfather-father is from Virginia with cousins spread throughout the state.

When Bille directed his first music video with Sounds of Blackness entitled "Optimistic" in 1991, Fonseca wrote and produced "I Can Testify" performed by Sounds of Blackness in 2003. When Bille directed his first film "Honey" in 2003 featuring Jessica Alba, Fonseca wrote-produced and co-directed his first short film "Core" in 2013 featuring Rodney Perry.

At the start of their careers they have been able to work in different times and space completely oblivious of each other. Both talents have proven in resume to have an eye to be exceptionally creative as producer and director.
